But as you sit in the theatre watching the film you realise it is neither a moving love story nor a thrilling sports drama rags and riches but never together. For one the characters named Ligerbecause his mother Balamani Ramya Krishnan is a self-styled tiger and apparently her late husband Ligers father was a lion in the MMA arena. The background music is not impactful.
Seeing as how the film fails to offer anything novel beyond Vijay Deverakondas new buff body its not hard to guess how it fared. The cinematography is alright. Vijays realistic performance coupled with fantastic action and dance are said to be the highlights of the film.
However it is hard to feel anything other than sheer frustration watching Liger given how the filmmakers have squandered the potential of the central idea. Rotten Tomatoes home of the Tomatometer is the most trusted measurement of quality for Movies TV. The songs are not interesting.
